Assessment - the process of documenting
Client - A person using the services of a professional person or organization.
Design - usually considered in the context of the appliedd arts, enigineering, architecture, and other such creative endeavors.
Design Process - refers to planning the routine steps of a process aside from the expected result.
Engineer - Someone who is trained or professionally engaged in a branch of engineering.
Evolution - is the change in the inherited traits of a population from generation to generation.
Invention - an object, process, or technique which displays an element of novelty
Problem Identification – The recognition of an unwelcome or harmful matter needing to be dealt with.
Product - something manufactured
Sequential - an ordered list of objects or events
Standard - something considered by an authority or by general consent as a basis of comparison; an approved model.
Timeline chart – A one-axis chart used to display past and/or future events, activities, requirements, etc., in the order they occurred or are expected to occur for the purposes of analysis and communication.
Brainstorming - The process used to find a solution to a problem by collecting ideas without regard for feasibility, which occur from a group of people brought together for that specific purpose
Constraint - is a method for satisfying constraints for bodies that obey Newton's equations of motion.
Design brief - A comprehensive written document for a design project developed in concert by a person representing the business need for design and the designer
Designer - a broad term for a person who designs any of a variety of things.
Engineer’s notebook - abook in which an engineer will formally document, in chronological order, all of his or her work that is associated with a specific design project.
Innovation - The process of making improvements by introducing something new.
Iterative -The act of repeating.
Process -A naturally occurring or designed sequence of changes of properties or attributes of an object or system.
Research -the systematic study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions.
Solution - the act of solving a problem, question, etc.
Target consumer - specific group of consumers at which a company aims its products and services
