Over dimensioned means that the engineer dimensioned more parts than needed. With the excess dimensions, neatness is compromised.

I agree with Semaj. This is my third yr teaching PLTW, and over-dimensioned sketches become cluttered and info is redundant. Engineers like neither of these. Thanks for the blog.
